What is Frame?
Frame is a photo editing app focused on beautiful presentation. Add design-led frames, subtle filters, playful stickers, and AI-powered effects to transform your photos into finished artefacts ready for sharing or printing.
Does Frame upload my photos?
No. All photo editing and AI processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
Why does Frame need camera access?
Frame uses your camera to capture photos for editing. You can also edit existing photos from your photo library. Camera access is only used when you actively take a photo.
Why does Frame need photo library access?
Frame needs access to your photo library to save edited photos. You can grant save-only access without giving Frame permission to read your entire library.
Creator Club (Subscription)
What's included in Creator Club?
Creator Club unlocks all premium filters, frames, sticker packs, and AI-powered editing tools. Free users get a selection of filters, frames, and stickers with a watermark on exports.
How do I restore my subscription?
If you've previously subscribed and need to restore your purchase, open the paywall screen and tap Restore Purchases. This will sync your subscription status with the App Store.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel your Creator Club subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Troubleshooting
The camera preview isn't showing
- Check that Camera access is enabled for Frame in Settings > Privacy > Camera
- Try closing and reopening the app
- Restart your device if the issue persists
My edited photo didn't save
- Check that Photo Library access is enabled in Settings > Privacy > Photos > Frame
- Ensure you have enough storage space on your device
- Try saving again from the editor
AI effects are loading slowly
- AI effects run on-device and may take a few seconds on older devices
- Close other apps to free up memory
- Some effects work better on photos with clear subjects
